Acceptance of terms

Synapse is operated by Intigenuity, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Synapse (the “Service”), through our website or mobile apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information when registering and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable use

  • Do not abuse, harass, or harm other players, including teammates.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Do not use automated systems to extract puzzle answers or otherwise cheat.
  • Do not submit unlawful, infringing, or offensive content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.

Intellectual property

The Service, including puzzles, software, branding, and content, is owned by Intigenuity, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial play.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intigenuity, Inc. and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
